A Study in Scarlet

Sherlock Holmes' fans here? This time around I thought of writing about the book where Sherlock Holmes was born, "A Study in Scarlet". Dr Watson, who is a doctor in the British Army, is our narrator in the book. He writes about his first encounter with Sherlock Holmes. Dr Watson has an ailing health and is short on money. Sherlock Holmes in his own unique way of reasoning backwards, figures the whole case out, before anyody else does. A two decade old feud comes into the picture and...

He explains how with the evolution of society, women now have responsibilities other than the conventional responsibility of being a homemaker. These facts (and others as you'll read the book) have changed our understanding of both genders and we have lost the relationship skills our ancestors had. Both genders now want each other to become like themselves, ignoring the differences both genders have- psychological and emotional. Dr. Gray explains at gr...
